Above the Blue "REDDZ": The Heart of Breckenridge Street Food

Welcome to Above the Blue REDDZ, Breckenridge's premier destination for high-quality, fast-casual comfort food. Situated in the heart of downtown at 421 S Main St, our no-frills walk-up window has become a local legend for those seeking world-class flavors without the wait. Whether you are coming off the slopes at Peak 9, exploring the shops on Main Street, or looking for the ultimate late-night bite, Reddz is here to serve you.

Reddz isn't just a food stand; it's a culinary bridge between the East Coast and the Rocky Mountains. Founded by a culinary arts graduate with deep roots in the Philadelphia area, our mission was simple: bring authentic, high-quality street staples to the high country.

We don't believe in cutting corners. That's why we source Amoroso's rolls and cheesesteak meat from the Philadelphia region and gyro meat and feta from Chicago. Every sandwich is built on tradition and a commitment to quality you can taste in every bite.

From the window — a message from "Redd"

The heartbeat of Breckenridge

Founder at Above the Blue REDDZ

To our locals, our seasonal workers, and our visitors from around the globe:

When I first opened the window at Above the Blue, I didn't just want to start a restaurant; I wanted to build a staple. In a town known for its high-end dining and world-class skiing, I saw a gap—a need for something fast, authentic, and unapologetically satisfying. We are a "no-frills" establishment because we believe the focus should always be on what's in the wrapper, not what's on the walls.

My roots are in the culinary traditions of the East Coast, and I brought that "Philly hustle" with me to the Rockies. Street food is an art form—it requires precision, speed, and the right ingredients. If you're eating a cheesesteak here, you're eating meat and rolls sourced from the Philadelphia area. If you're enjoying a gyro, it's coming from trusted suppliers in Chicago.

When you're coming off Peak 9 after a long day of skiing, or when you're leaving the bars at 1:00 AM, you aren't looking for a lecture on gastronomy. You're looking for a meal that hits your soul. You're looking for a hitter. That is what we provide every single night.

Being a "local's favorite" is a title we take seriously. We stay open late—often until 2:00 AM—so the people who keep this town running have a place to get a hot, quality meal when everything else is closed. Whether it's a night by the river or a sunny lunch break, we are proud to be where Breckenridge comes to refuel.

Thank you for making us a part of your Breckenridge story. I'll see you at the window.
